После успешного дебюта набора 8134 "Ночной разрушитель", компания LEGO продолжает успешно развивать концепцию наборов "Крохотные турбогонщики" ("Tiny Turbos"). Наряду с дешёвыми наборами, состоящими всего из одного автомобиля выходят и более привычные коробки уже большого размера, которые помимо автомобилей содержат и разные другие элементы. Собственно автомобилей в этом наборе четыре штуки. Они не отличаются особенной оригинальностью, скорее это разнообразные вариации на тему уже вышедших ранее моделей. Все они спроектированы таким образом, чтобы их можно было бы запустить при помощи специального ударного механизма. Если вы хотите организовать гонки на скорость или дальность, то рекомендуем обратить внимание на набор 8147 "Стремительный заезд", в котором два таких устройства. Кроме автомобилей в наборе в найдёте также сам этот механизм, две рампы (выполненные совсем не в леговском стиле из тонкого пластика, которые легко сломать, обращайтесь с ними осторожно) и сервисно-заправочный бокс. Специальный механизм, использующий заводной мотор, позволяет поднимать и опускать трамплин, усложняя таким образом прохождение трассы.
